According to the Catalan newspaper “Sport”, Portuguese Joao Felix played 14 matches in the last two months, 3 with Portugal and 11 with Barcelona, where he started with Barca since the September 16 match against Betis<\/p>\n
In total, Felix participated in 954 minutes in the last 60 days, which is a record that may affect the player\u2019s physical condition in the upcoming matches<\/p>\n
The newspaper added that the numerous injuries suffered by Barcelona on the offensive side recently, between Pedri, Frenkie de Jong, Rafinha and Lewandowski, forced Xavi not to rotate as much as he wanted in recent weeks<\/p>\n
Not only that, but Felix is the only one of the team’s strikers who can play on the left side, as Ferran Torres, Rafinha and Lamine Yamal feel more comfortable on the right side, and therefore there is no direct replacement for the Portuguese star<\/p>\n
