The leaks shook Barcelona, which has not yet denied what the newspaper reported, despite confirming in a statement his intention to sue her for hacking the email and publishing confidential documents

And the newspaper published a lengthy letter to Raul Sanllehi, the former Barcelona negotiator, via e-mail, which he addressed to the club’s board of directors after his meeting with Neymar’s father and the player himself
In that message, Sanllehi absolved Neymar’s father of attempts to pressure his son to move to Paris, stressing that the father was on the side of Barcelona
The letter also included that Neymar’s father informed Sanllehi, of his son’s anger at the leakage of the details of his contract with the club, which requires him to receive a signing bonus on his new contract, which amounted to 64.4 million euros
He added, “Neymar’s father never spoke of his desire to get more money, but repeatedly asked me to speak to his son personally”
