She explained that Liverpool was willing to pay 85 million pounds to add Valverde to its ranks
She noted, however, that Real Madrid’s sale of Brazilian Casemiro in the same window spoiled any potential deal
Liverpool ended up buying Arthur Melo from Juventus on a short-term deal, on a season-long loan
