Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen warned of the danger of the Real Madrid star, before El Clasico, the day after tomorrow, Saturday, as part of the 11th round of La Liga.
“Jude Bellingham, the Real Madrid star, succeeded in replacing Karim Benzema’s departure,” Stegen said in statements published by Marca newspaper.
He continued, “Bellingham creates things out of thin air. He often reaches the opponents’ penalty area and scores the net.”
Barcelona enters El Clásico on Saturday, with an unbeaten record this season, whether in La Liga or the Champions League.
Ter Stegen commented, “These results give us mental peace before El Clásico, but we also want to achieve victory in Saturday’s match.”
Regarding wearing the leadership armband in El Clásico after Sergi Roberto was injured, he explained, “I feel important within Barça, and I am excited and proud to wear the armband.”
Regarding injuries within the team, the German goalkeeper confirmed, “It is painful that a large number of players were injured, and therefore we hope that more than one player recovers before El Clásico.”
