Guardiola obstructs Real Madrid’s plan

Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola decided to bet heavily on one of the targeted deals from Real Madrid during the coming summer

According to the Defense Central network, Man City, at the request of its coach Guardiola, has entered the race to sign Canadian Alphonso Davies, the Bayern Munich star, in the summer of 2024.

Alphonso Davies, 22 years old, has a contract with Bayern Munich until June 30, 2022.

Alphonso Davies is one of the major goals of Real Madrid president Florentino Perez next summer, but Manchester City now represents a major obstacle to finalizing this deal.

The Spanish network indicated that Guardiola is motivated to compete with the Merengues for the Davis deal, because he regrets losing Jude Bellingham, who preferred to move to Real Madrid in the summer of 2023.

She explained, “Real Madrid is offering Alphonso Davies an annual salary of 8 million euros, while Man City is offering a wage ranging from 14 to 15 million euros.”
